The telecom division of Reliance Industries, Reliance Jio Infocomm, has declared it has over 1.5 million test users presently on its network but didn’t specify a release date for its commercial operations. “The common monthly consumption per user is in excess of 26 GB and is increasing rapidly. Typical voice usage per month is over 355 minutes. The test programmed will be with time upgraded into commercial operations in coming months,” said RIL.
Reliance Jio, which is preparing up to launch its 4G services, said that throughout the quarter, it unmitigated its trial services to all LYF smartphones users that are under the Jio LYF Preview Offer. This, it said, has allowed testing of all the services to consumers outside the preliminary set of test users, and additionally added that the reaction has been encouraging. All the digital apps have also been tested broadly as part of this large programme, it said.

Reliance Jio is giving out a pan-India digital services business. Additionally to wireless and fixed broadband connectivity offering data and voice services on an all-IP network, it will also proffer digital services cutting athwart multiple domains such as healthcare, education, security, financial services, communication, government citizen interfaces and entertainment.
