After lot of controversy, the creator of Freedom 251 smartphone is back with a yet another series of launch. The smart phone maker launched six new mobile phones and also launched an HD LED TV at an event held in New Delhi. In addition to this the company also gave out a little information concerning the roll out of its first smart phone, the Freedom 251.
Out of the 6 new mobile devices, four of them would be characteristic phones going by the names King, Raja, Boss and Hit. The smartphones have been christened Elegance and Elegant. The Raja, Boss and King are priced at Rs 1099, Rs 999 and Rs 899 respectively and as for the miniature Hit, it’s priced at just Rs 699.
Four of the feature phones comes with a 2.4-inch TFT display, a 2 Megapixel rear camera, and also come with expandable memory up to 32 GB. The Boss comes with a 2000mAh battery unit, while the King has a 1800mAh battery. The hardware specs of the Raja are analogous to that of the King, except that it comes with a larger 2.8-inch TFT display. However Hit features a minor 1.8-inch, a 1,250mAh battery and 2 Megapixel camera.
Coming to the smart phones, we have the Elegance which is a 4G enabled smartphone while the Elegant is its 3G enabled sibling. The Elegant comes at price of Rs 3,999 and comes with, 1GB DDR3 RAM, a 5-inch HD IPS display and quad core processor clocked at a speed of 1.3GHz. It has a rear camera of 8 MP and a front camera of 3.2 MP to take amazing selfies. The Elegant is power-driven by a 2,500mAh battery. The hardware of the smartphone Elegance is almost alike with the additional 4G bands (with VoLTE) and a better 2800mAh battery.
Now coming to the 31.5 inch LED TV which is given the name Freedom 9900 and you may have rightly guessed its priced at Rs 9,900. The company has not yet shared details concerning availability of the six mobile phones, but said that the LED TV would arrive by 15 August.
At the respective event where all of this is launched, Ringing Bells also shorn of the reports that there have been grievances that those who reserved Freedom 251, have not been yet refunded with their cash.
“We have no complaint. Our Terms For FREEDOM251 are cash on delivery, therefore there can be no such complaint. For the first 29200 units booked online on 18/2/2016, a sum of RS. 84 lakhs ( including courier charges) was received by the payment gateway M/s CC Avenue prior to the server crash and all these funds have been refunded by the gateway itself. No funds were received by Ringing Bells. M/s CC Avenue Payment gateway has confirmed on 29/3/16 that all payments have been refunded to the respective customers. Post rectification and servers coming back online, only Customer Registrations were introduced and customers clearly advised that post confirmation of their orders , the Terms will be COD(cash on delivery). Therefore cash will be paid by customers only on delivery and therefore no room for any confusion or any advance,” clarifies Mr Goel.
